LOGON: INDULGE IN A LITTLE...

TELIOSA VON VALANCIUS: ROGUE TRADER

Originally a crime lord, Teliosa (Tel) inherited his Warrant of Trade and spent years becoming a successful Rogue Trader. His voidship (the Unremembered Pheonix) was raided by a Night Lord Claw, and he was taken as part of the loot. After over a decade of being a personal slave, he's rescued by a regiment of guardsmen, and eventually decides he ought to reclaim his ship, his life, and his Warrant of Trade.

Obviously, he was made initially for and in the crpg Rogue Trader. In addition to this though, he is also my player character in the Wrath & Glory campaign I'm a part of.

But you're all here for the sleazy stuff.

The events of the video game take place as usual, with him collecting all his companions, expanding his retinue. Some years after the game ends though, while the Unremembered Phoenix is exploring a far off reach of a dark expanse, everything goes horribly wrong.

Teliosa wasn't ashamed to admit he ran. It was only reasonable. Make a break for the Bridge, instead of trying to stay and fight multiple combat servators. Not good odds, especially without his rifle. So he ran. Teliosa got nearly there, too, before he realized just how fucked they all were.
Midnight ceremite glinted at him from the end of the hall, and Teliosa's blood ran cold. The small snubnose under his coat, nor the dual swords belted at his waist would be any help here. Throne, even the sniper rifle he favored would be useless here. Still, he drew the pistol, fighting the sweatiness of his palms.
A crack echoes through the air, and the heavy slug bounces off ceremite, not even denting that grinning deathshead helmet. Teliosa's stomach sinks, and he doesn't even have time to try running before the warrior is upon him. He's off the ground in a blink, feet not even brushing the floor, a huge hand around his throat. It squeezes tight enough Teliosa feels like his eyes will burst, and he can't breathe.
The giant holding him gives a deep, half whirring sound through his helmet, before it coalesces into a deep, not quite stuttering rumble of low Gothic.
"We are the Eighth legion, and we have come for you."
It's the last thing Teliosa hears before passing out in a wave of pain.

Most of his retinue ends up dead, slaughtered aboard the ship, and nearly all 27,000 souls living in the lower decks are herded aboard the Night Lord ship as new serfs.
Teliosa though, is carried aboard by that same Night Lord, whose name it turns out, is Rouse. He becomes a personal slave to Rouse's whole Claw, but primarily to Rouse himself (finders keepers, after all). His ex crime lord, Rogue Trader tough guy attitude gets him into quite a bit of trouble after being taken, and he quickly gets put in his place. Warming beds, servicing them however they need, and generally being a pretty little thing to squish and play with when they get bored.

But soon enough, Rouse starts... acting strangely. Bringing him food, sweets even. Forcing him into baths which even have hot water. (And backhanding him when he throws a fit about getting in, because the hot water Rouse got for him is getting cold, and the boiler only works for a few hours a day, and even then only when you kick it). Even lets him sleep in a real bed.
The others in Rouse's Claw play with him, use him, and when he's returned to Rouse, the man washes and feeds him treats. Cuddles with him, rubs salve into his new cuts, massages his aching limbs. Pulls Tel to his soft and warm Astartes tits to hold him. It messes with Teliosa's head worse than just bare cruelty would. Makes him question if the times Rouse does hurt and abuse and rape him actually happened, or if he's just imagined them. (All of this started as a fun game for Rouse. Be soft sometimes, lavish kisses, bring treats, Cuddle on the bed and not demand anything. He liked the way it made Teliosa flinch and shake in anticipatory fear. It becomes not a game.)
The first time Rouse brings him snacks, Tel probably things that the awful heretic might be trying to fatten him up and then eat him. Because there is. A lot of snacks.[1]

Maybe Rouse was born in the warband, not snatched, hungry, from some terrible Imperial world. Born to a Night Lord, who disappeared for a while, then stumbled home again heavily pregnant and refused to say which bastards. So Rouse doesn't know the cruelty of underhives, the toxic environs of a hollowed-out mining asteroids—but he also doesn't really know mortals. They are strange little critters, nothing more.
Then he gets to have a pet of his own. Maybe he did well in the raid
And Tel, who grew up not in the underhive, but still dealing with gangs, who became a successful crime lord in his own right, he knows how this should be going. He knows how gang bosses have beloved pets sometimes, spoilt and pretty. And how easily such a pet would be cut into pieces for even a hint of disobedience. He keeps acting out and yes, he's punished, but not as he should be.

After being rescued, he can't shake the attachment, the need to be with Rouse again. He knows what happened to him for the last decade was abuse, was slavery, was awful, but at the same time, he misses his lord so badly. He finds a toffee Rouse gave him, in one of his pockets, and he wants to choke on it.
He is happy to be back with the Imperium, to be free and back in a world of something other than screaming heresy, but at the same time, if Rouse were to offer him his place back, it would be hard to turn him down.[1]
This is part of why he attaches himself so heavily to the Commissar and the Commander of the regiment. He needs someone with authority to tell him what to do and where to go and what to think, or he'll break down into sobs.[1]

The guard regiment he's being sheltered by ends up being briefly intercepted by another Chaos warband, and Teliosa, in the center of a clump of men, catches sight of a Chaos space marine. He bursts into tears, and has to pray those around him will think it's fear, rather than because he thought, for a split-second, that it was Rouse, come to take him back, and he was utterely disappointed when it wasn't.

Teliosa: He was a monster to me, a horrible monster!
Rouse: [forced him into the bath, brought him food and sweets, petted his head, curled up with him on the bed and fucked him good the way he needed]
Teliosa, sobbing and shaking: I do not miss him at all!
Teliosa: fuck yeah! I have my freedom again!
Teliosa:
Teliosa: oh no I have total freedom again T_T
Rouse: You know you miss it; you miss being a pet, kept and knowing I'll tell you how to feel, what to do. You know you're meant for that. I'll even let you have your position back, right at my feet where you belong.
Teliosa, in his new cadre of guys after retrieving his Warrant of Trade and rebuilding his retinue, having been found by Rouse again: [Genuinely considering it]

Rouse: brother, my pet left some food over :(
NL: how much did you bring him?
Rouse: only an armful :(
NL: that's half his bodyweight
